Legends of the Spheres PDF

The New champions book, titled Legends of the Spheres, has just dropped; if you are owed a PDF of it you should have just gotten it in your inbox.

This means next up is sending out all of the physical books of Guile and Legends, which we should hopefully get to soon, once we've had a chance to make sure there's no problems in proofs.

It came to my attention that some people didn't get the previous, already-published PDFs from this campaign (Spheres of Might, Ultimate Spheres of Power, etc.) Rather than try to figure out if that was an isolated event, I've resent them to everyone; you should have just gotten those emails if you are owed them. As always, if you don't have something you feel you should, please send me a message.

I was hoping to have the PDF out to people at the beginning of the week, but savvy backers will note it didn't drop until yesterday. I'm sorry about that; I was double checking things and it took a couple days.

Savvy backers will also note that the PDF that dropped has almost 400 pages. It's optimized for PDF reading, but we will be re-laying it out smaller before printing.

Champions Book

In other news, the playtest for the Champions book has just started! It should be available through our Discord server just like the documents for the last one. If you haven't come by yet, please come and take a look!

Spheres of Guile PDF!

The Spheres of Guile book is done, and is ready to be sent!

It has taken longer than I'd hoped, but the Spheres of Guile book is finally ready. It takes a bit of time to do the print process, but the PDF is ready to be sent out. 

This means there are a few things that need to happen. First of all, I really, truly through we'd already sent out backerkit surveys, but apparently we haven't. Those should have just arrived via email, and are a way for you to inform us what address you want physical products sent to and things like that.

We will start sending PDFs on Monday to all the people who ordered them. After the processing time is over, we will then be able to start sending out printed copies as well.

What about Ultimate Engineering?

Ultimate Engineering is still having the final touches put onto the text, but hopefully shouldn't be too far behind. Once that's ready the process will look very similar. I hesitate to put an ETA on that yet since we're already overdue (I thought SoG would take a couple weeks longer, and then suddenly it was here), but we will be doing everything we can to get it out to you as soon as we can.

Hey everyone, the deadline for Christmas we’d set for ourselves is long past, and with that scare about the OGL happening not that long ago, it’s high time we had an update to let you know our expected timetables, projections, and the state of the projects.

First of all, know that while editing and play testing took longer than we’d hoped, they have progressed smoothly. There is still a little massaging that needs to be done to some of the text, but we are wrapping it up as we speak and are starting to put things into layout.

I worry that a projection of ‘before the end of February’ is too optimistic, so our new expectation is to have the books ready to order/send you PDFs of in mid-March. The timetable for Drivethru printing is always finicky enough it’s hard to put a fine date on when things will have cleared pre-printing setup and be ready to actually order, but hopefully that won’t take too long and we’ll be able to get the physical books to you not long after that.

As of this moment the biggest thing that’s missing, other than the aforementioned last minute text massaging/ final editing read through is a few more pieces of artwork we’re waiting on.
